I’ve had a regular meditation practice for little less than 15 years, the last eight years I’ve been especially into Vajrayana among other outer and inner tantric practices.
Me? This is difficult as I am not used to talk about myself, but I will do my best in this case …I've had the amazing opportunity to meet HH the Dalai Lama, Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoché. Garchen Rinpoche among others extraordinary Dharma teachers, but was until 8 years ago, that I got the opportunity to meet Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, he made a tremendous change in me and in my practice. I request for his guidance on what to practice and how to practice, he conducted me to the Vajrayana path and gave me clear directions to follow, after a few years of practice, I request an interview with him once more, arrange a tray full of nice and different things (as done in the old times) and offered it to him, was at that very moment that I asked him to kindly became my guru and guide me, I was so fortunate that he actually said yes!!, of course until this present moment I am grateful for it and try to keep his teachings and directions to heart as much as I can.
Particularly this year it’s been quite confronting for me, as I lost my job and to be totally honest, the past couple of years I felt like that was not my place to be, I felt the time was running and I was losing my opportunity to do something significant with my life. And, of course, as you know, Vajrayana works every single time, and I got fired about 5 months ago, and now anxiety, uncertainty and the sensation of having no ground under my feet is almost paralyzing, as all this freedom is not something I am used to, so I’m learning how to trust on all possible ways. I hope this can inspire you to contribute and make this retreat possible, thank you anyway to read this far.
Much Love, Yanis
Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche
The retreat is based on the practices of Vajrasattva and Korde Rushen - the preliminary practices of the Great Perfection as explained by Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche in the text Sphere of Refined Gold.
The retreat takes place at Gomde Pyrenees, in France, from the 3rd of March through the 31st of May 2020.
I am creating a workshop to help about the burnout syndrome, my country is #1 globally, so I would like to find a way to introduce Dharma (without calling it Dharma of course) in all the organizations whiling to hear about this and actually do something about it, this is the way for me to spread the teachings and help my country in this difficult situation.
