At the moment, my main practice is Longchen Nyingtik Ngöndro which I perform in the framework of six-year Ngöndro Gar program under the guidance of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche. It is a program based on a two-hour daily practice during which the practitioner consistently performs both general and specific preliminaries, beginning with Precious Human Birth topic and ending with Guru-Yoga. Earlier I visited the local center of Shambhala Buddhism where the main practice was sitting meditation. Along with this, for several years I studied Lam-Rim Chenmo by Je Tsongkhapa. In the future, I intend to continue my spiritual development adhering to the vision and advices of Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche and Telo Tulku Rinpoche.

In my practice, I'm focused on the non-sectarian and sincere approach, inspired by such a great and original masters as H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama, Khunu Lama Tenzin Gyaltsen, Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Gendün Chöpel and Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

I am 35 years old. I was born and grew up in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. In 2003 I graduated from Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts and received a diploma in show business management. Around 2006 I first met with Buddhism through books of H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama and it impressed me so much. During the next year I familiarize with the basic ideas of Buddhism which seemed very convincing to me, and as a result in October, 2007 I went to Kalmykia where Geshe Thupten Shakya granted my request for Refuge ceremony.

From the very first day my interest in Buddhadharma is strongly increase and in the late 2013 by recommendation of Telo Tulku Rinpoche I came to India for learning Tibetan Language and Buddhism. I started my education in Center of Tibetan Studies at the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives (LTWA) where I took Basic Tibetan Language and Buddhist Philosophy classes for two years. In 2015, wishing to raise the level of education, I continued my learning at the College for Higher Tibetan Studies (CHTS), which is a branch of Institute of Buddhist Dialectics (IBD) based in Dharamsala. Completed two-year preparatory program of CHTS and successfully passed the entrance exams, I was accepted to continue my learning in the Buddhist Philosophy and Dialectics course and enrolled to Nangdön Rigpa (Inner Science) class, which is the first stage of this nine-year course that include the study of Collected Topics (Düdra), Mind and Awareness (Lorig), Buddhist Logic (Takrig), and Tenets (Druptha). Successful completion of this course will enable me to obtain a Parchin Rabjampa degree (Master of Prajnaparamita).

In one’s own time I'm interested in some humanities (such as western philosophy, social psychology, cultural studies, arts, and so on), because I am convinced that knowledge in this fields can be helpful in achieving my main goal, which I report below.

Dear benefactor, I appeal for your support because the economical and social crisis in Ukraine caused by the current difficult political situation has led to a significant deterioration of my personal financial situation and at the moment I almost lost the ability to provide my education financially. As a student, unfortunately I do not have the opportunity to work in India accordance to the immigration law. Nevertheless, despite the encountered obstacles I have a strong intention to continue and complete a full course of study. In this way, the funding that I can get would give me the opportunity to continue my education in time of upcoming academic session without let or hindrance.

Thanks to your generosity, I hope to partly cover the expenses related to my study at CHTS in the upcoming academic year 2017-2018 and to become one step closer to my achievement.

Hope you deem me worthy for fundings.

The main goal of my education is to get the proper level of knowledge, skills and experience which will allow me to contribute the adaptation and promotion of an authentic Buddhist Teachings particularly in the western society in a different ways: as participant of any already existed project with the same or similar mission, as translator / interpreter, as author, and so on.
