Practice

I am a student of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and have been a Shambhala Buddhist since 2006.

About

I discovered the Shambhala teachings while serving in Iraq in 2006. I am a 24 year veteran of the U.S. Army. I co-teach with a fellow sangha member visiting various prisons across the country teaching meditation to incarcerated veterans and Buddhist inmates. I teach part time for the St. Johns County School District in Florida. I am also an adjunct history professor at a local community college.

Main teachers

Emily Bower and Mitchell Levy
